How It Started
For founder Kristin Doakes, that mission became deeply personal in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in October 2024. When her brother’s home in St. Pete Beach was damaged, she stepped in to help manage his claim — coordinating with the insurance company, working alongside professionals involved in the process, gathering estimates, and helping guide key decisions during the rebuild.
That experience revealed just how complex, delayed, and overwhelming the claims process can be — even when support is in place.
As a seasoned real estate advisor, Kristin was already experienced in guiding families through high-stakes decisions. But this situation exposed a different kind of gap — one where homeowners often lack clear guidance, structure, and advocacy.
It didn’t feel like a business opportunity. It felt like a responsibility.
Built with Intention
Kristin went on to earn her Public Adjuster license and began working directly in the field, gaining firsthand experience in claim handling, documentation, and carrier communication.
