TrueHaven Claims Consulting was founded with a simple but powerful goal:

To restore clarity, control, and confidence for property owners navigating insurance claims — especially in the moments they need it most.

For founder Kristin Doakes, that mission became deeply personal in the aftermath of

Hurricane Helene in October 2024. When her brother’s home in St. Pete Beach

was damaged, she stepped in to help manage his claim — making calls to the insurance company, coordinating with the Public Adjuster, gathering quotes, and overseeing key decisions in the rebuilding process.

It opened her eyes to just how complex, delayed, and overwhelming the process can be — even with help. As a seasoned real estate advisor, Kristin was already used to guiding families through high-stakes transitions. But this was different. It felt like a calling.

She earned her Insurance Adjuster license, began working in the field, and built the kind of company she wished had existed — one that empowers both homeowners and adjusters with systems, structure, and support.

Built by Experience, Backed by Mentorship

As TrueHaven took shape, Kristin was fortunate to receive mentorship from Stephen Range, a highly experienced industry consultant based in North Georgia. Stephen shares Kristin’s commitment to ethical service and professional excellence. Today, he continues to offer insight from the field: assisting with estimating, and helping ensure that every claim is approached with urgency, knowledge, and care.

Their combined experience in real estate, field operations, construction oversight, and claims handling has helped shape TrueHaven into a firm rooted in service and built for scale — without losing the personal touch.
